QuickMed Araya, has unveiled a telemedicine platform designed to bridge gaps in access, affordability, and quality of healthcare across Africa.

The initiative, which comes amid rising concerns over the brain drain of medical professionals, aims to leverage mobile technology to connect patients with licensed doctors in real-time, regardless of their geographical location.

According to the firm, the platform seeks to decongest overcrowded hospitals while providing remote medical consultations to patients in rural areas with limited access to basic healthcare.
